ABOUT BULLDOG COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Louisiana Tech Athletics has a rich tradition of success. With the ever-changing landscape of intercollegiate athletics, it has become evident that additional support is needed to assist with Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) and provide the program of your choice with the resources necessary to compete and excel in this new era of college athletics. In order for Louisiana Tech to compete in NIL, and fairly compensate LA Tech student-athletes for their publicity rights, it is necessary to pool and harness the collective resources of the alumni and supporters of LA Tech, and its alumni-related businesses. As a result, Bulldog Community Outreach, Inc. has been created as the collective of Louisiana Tech Athletics to support LA Tech student-athlete athletes seeking to monetize the use of their name, image and likeness (NIL).

What Bulldog Community Outreach Does
Bulldog Community Outreach, Inc. provides NIL agreements to Louisiana Tech student-athletes so they can impact our community. Bulldog Community Outreach sponsored student-athletes will use their name, image and likeness to promote not only their own successes, but help promote and serve local charities in the community.

FAQs
What is NIL?
In accordance with NCAA and Louisiana state law, intercollegiate student-athletes are now allowed to earn compensation for their name, image, and likeness (NIL) for commercial activities, including endorsements through traditional and social media, appearances, entrepreneurial activities, in-kind deals, autographs and more.

What is an NIL Collective?
The purpose of an NIL collective is to support and protect the student-athletes by ensuring they have control over their NIL. They help facilitate meaningful endorsement opportunities that comply with Federal, State, NCAA, and university policies, laws, regulations.

Is Bulldog Community Outreach, Inc. a part of LA Tech Athletics?
No. Although Bulldog Community Outreach works in close partnership with LA Tech Athletics, like all NIL collectives, Bulldog Community Outreach operates independently of the university and athletic department.

Can NIL Collectives pay student-athletes to attend a particular school?
No. NCAA rules prohibit student-athletes from receiving compensation contingent on going to a particular school (also known as pay- for-play) or tied to athletic performance.

How does the Bulldog Community Outreach Collective work?
Bulldog Community Outreach enters into Name-Image-Likeness Agreements (“NIL Agreements”) with Louisiana Tech student-athletes. The student-athletes are selected by Bulldog Community Outreach leadership. Under the NIL Agreement and in return for compensation, student-athletes agree to promote and serve local charities in the community.
