RUSTON, Louisiana – Louisiana Tech Athletics is set to host the Inaugural NIL & Retailer Reception on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in the Davison Athletics Complex located at the South End Zone of Joe Aillet Stadium on the campus of Louisiana Tech University. There will be light refreshments available to attendees as a part of the Welcome & Networking Reception. NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) has quickly become, and will remain, an integral part of the business of college athletics, and this forum will facilitate opportunities for dialogue, as well as standards and best practices to be communicated to the public.
"We are very excited to host the inaugural NIL and Retailer reception. This is a great opportunity for our community to learn more about how businesses can participate in NIL activities with Louisiana Tech Athletics. There are so many misconceptions about third-party NIL and the cumbersome nature of how it functions within the ecosystem of college athletics today. This reception is designed to provide educational and networking opportunities for those interested in participating in and engaging with NIL activities with our department and student-athletes. We look forward to some great conversations!"
Vice President & Director of Athletics - Ryan Ivey
The free event is open to all members of the public who are interested in learning more about Louisiana Tech Athletics and the process to engage in NIL driven campaigns.
